Existing decorative lights will be used for the festive season
Ramsey residents will be consulted about the location of the town's 'cone tree' as part of its Christmas decorations.
The commissioners will be keeping the same lights as previous years after a vote between the board.
A proposal was also put to the board about changing the colour of these.
However this was voted down by seven votes to one.
Last year the modern white tree created mixed opinion when it was installed in Parliament Square.
