Current PSC offer expected to be 'overwhelmingly rejected' when ballot closes today
Treasury needs to raise public sector workers' pay in line with the UK to be able to attract people to the Island, according to one union.
It's as a ballot for public sector workers is set to close later today, following a revised pay offer from the Public Services Commission.
Trade unions Prospect and Unite have both made calls for negotiations to re-open, as indications suggest the offers will be 'overwhelmingly rejected'.
