Dr Ewart says wide government approach needed
The director of public health says there has been an increase in recorded suicides over the past two years.
A cross-government initiative is now examining reasons, patterns, support and prevention policies.
Last week it was revealed that there were 22 suicide verdicts recorded at inquests concluded in 2020.
Dr Henrietta Ewart told Manx Radio it's vital to look as widely as possible to find answers:
