Leaflets are being delivered to homes with ways people can prevent an incident, warning 'even the most lovable family dog poses a risk'.
Residents are asked to ensure a dog is out the way before a postal worker arrives, invest in a letter cage, or external delivery box, or sign up for a 'protecting your postie' webinar.
