Inmates now Covid-free, but staff still isolating says deputy governor
Visiting at the prison will resume as soon as it's safe to do so.
That's the message from Deputy Governor Martin Phillips after inmates were restricted to video or telephone calls with loved ones on Christmas Day.
Visits will continue to be restricted until the New Year, when a review will take place.
While there are no longer active Covid-19 cases in prisoners at the Jurby facility, Mr Phillips says staffing levels remain affected:
RPU will be 'out in force' to stop drink and drug drivers
Ramsey Commissioners to spend more than £8k on deckchairs and storage unit
