Official opening attended by Minister
A new 'Pod' facility, providing seriously ill teenagers and young adults with their own space at Noble's Hospital, has been opened.
Patients with chronic and life-threatening conditions now have access to the likes of a TV, games and activities and kitchen facilities, aways from the wards they normally find themselves on.
The official opening was conducted by a pony, and attended by Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford and various officials, on Friday.
Fiona Barker from the charity Bridge the Gap, which has organised the funding and building of the facility, says it was much needed.
