NASUWT member urged gov't to tackle 'failing' infrastructure and public services first
A teaching union official says government's plans to grow the Island's population are "hilarious".
NASUWT Negotiating Secretary Geraldine O'Neill has been reacting to the 2023-24 Budget, announced in Tynwald this week.
Treasury Minister Alex Allinson unveiled a £100m package to support government's aims to grow the population to 100,000.
But Ms O'Neill says other issues need to be tackled first:
Reopening of Martin Ward delayed following further safety checks
Major reservoir projects completed on time and on budget
Law Society responds to 'anecdotal' reports of conveyancing log-jam
Repair scheme an 'antidote to throwaway culture'
