Planning approval sought for a new campsite in Jurby

Application for 15 tent and 10 motorhome pitches

Planning permission is being sought for an 80 occupancy campsite on Summerhill Road in Jurby.

It would have 10 pitches for motorhomes, space for up to 15 tents and three shepherd huts would be built.

A shower and toilet block are also part of the plans, from the private operator, along with separate parking for the huts and the campsite.

Trees and hedges would be planted to mitigate those that will have to be removed whilst rabbit guards and stock proof fencing will be installed to prevent damage from animals.

The application is currently pending consideration and can be found here.
