Peter Kay tickets were sold via 'open and fair process'

Three quarters of them went to Island residents

All tickets for Peter Kay were sold via ‘an open and fair process’ with none held back for staff or off-Island residents.

The VillaGaiety says booking data shows around three quarters of the 2,720 tickets sold on Saturday (23 November) went to people living on the Isle of Man.

The comedian will play two nights at the Villa Marina in February 2026.

Some tickets have now been re-listed, at inflated prices, on resale platforms like Viagogo which the VillaGaiety says goes against its terms and conditions.

However it adds challenges – including a lack of regulation and platform constraints – make enforcement around this difficult.

Twenty-eight thousand people attempted to secure tickets including 250 who queued in person at the box office.

A spokesperson for the VillaGaiety said: “We strongly encourage anyone with tickets they no longer need to return them to our box office where they can be resold at face value to those on our waiting list.

“This process has already helped fans secure tickets fairly and safely.

“Additionally we remind the public to remain vigilant against scammers and to only purchase tickets through official channels.

“Our team worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth booking process for this high-demand event and we remain committed to providing a fair and enjoyable experience for all attendees.”
