First 'Iron Brew' meeting taking place this weekend
People living with haemochromatosis on the Isle of Man are being urged to join forces.
The Manx Haemochromatosis Support Group, on Facebook, was set up by Carolanne Hanley and Rowanna Miller.
The inherited condition causes iron levels in the body to slowly build up over many years; symptoms can include fatigue, depression and joint pain.

They’re hosting their first ‘Iron Brew’ coffee morning on Saturday (23 November) as a way of bringing people together in person.
It will take place at Waldick Guesthouse in Peel at 11.30am.
It’s believed there could be 500 people on the Island who live with the condition which causes iron levels in the body to build up.
