People urged to stay at home for 48 hours if experiencing D+V symptoms

Public Health issues handwashing reminder

Public Health Isle of Man says it's aware that diarrhoea and vomiting are circulating on the Island.

Anyone who is displaying symptoms is being asked to follow the 48-hour rule and stay at home until they have passed.

D+V is common in adults, children and babies and is often caused by a stomach bug.

Washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds throughout the day is said to be the best prevention.
