Island marking National Holocaust Memorial Day today
People on the Isle of Man will come together today in solidarity against prejudice and hatred.
A service is taking place – at St Mary of the Isle Church, on Hill Street, in Douglas - to mark National Holocaust Memorial Day.
It will include readings, prayers, music and song and starts at 3pm with people requested to be in their seats by 2.45pm.
The chief minister has described it as an opportunity for people of all ages and faiths ‘to learn lessons’ from events that have taken place in the past.
