Parents urged to 'have conversations' with children on dangers of playing on ice

Follows the tragic events seen in Solihull in the UK

There are fresh warnings to residents to be aware of the dangers that frozen open water presents.

Children and pets are particularly at risk as they may be tempted to play on the ice formed.

The Isle of Man Constabulary says adults can put themselves in harms way by attempting rescue missions.

They're urging parents to 'have the conversation' with your children and learn what to do if you get into trouble.
