Opinions sought on gov't energy saving tips

Did the advice prompt you to think about climate change?

Energy efficiency is under the spotlight as the Isle of Man’s Climate Transformation Team look to gain the public’s views on energy saving advice and support.

In October 2022, government launched a campaign with the aim of assisting residents with rising costs by providing measures to reduce energy consumption.

More than 20,000 people are understood to have visited the 'Small Changes Make a Big Difference' site looking for guidance.

The survey hopes to gather opinions on the effectiveness of the tips given and questions whether they brought climate change to the forefront of their minds and how they could also make other changes to help the Island reach net-zero by 2050.

The Board is calling for volunteers to feature in a case study explaining energy efficiency steps they’ve taken and potential cost benefits.

Those interested in getting involved in the case study, please email climatechange@gov.im.

The survey is open until 17 April which can be completed HERE.
