Earystane and Scard project has reached the environmental impact assessment stage
Onshore wind 'is the way to go' if the Isle of Man is to have a cost-effective energy source.
That's from the team behind the proposed Manx Utilities wind farm at Earystane and Scard.
The project has now reached the environmental impact assessment stage, which is being carried out by consultancy firm Wardell Armstrong.
Paul Evans from the company says there are a whole host of factors that need to be looked at to see if the farm will be viable:
