
One of the founders of 3FM has denied his business is to merge with Energy FM.
Last night Energy's technical director Juan Turner said the companies would be merging their operations.
But today 3FM's managing director Ron Berry says a deal has been struck to house both stations in one place, and combine both organisation’s news teams.
He says a proposal for an online TV news service is separate to a planned community programming TV channel which could cost the Manx government almost £250,000 a year.
Mr Berry says 3FM and Energy listeners won’t notice any change.
