New nursing home will be 'nurturing environment where happiness flourishes'

Bradda View Care Home will offer care for up to 72 residents

The company behind a new nursing home in Port Erin says it hopes it will enhance the quality of life for elderly residents on the Isle of Man.

LV Care Group has opened Bradda View Care Home which will offer care for up to 72 residents.

Once fully operational around 80 staff will be employed to run the facility.

The home has a number of communal spaces that will promote social interaction, and relaxation, including a bistro, tearoom and bar area.

Manager Melissa Peralta said: "My vision at Bradda View Care Home is to create not just a place to live but a happy home where every resident feels joy, comfort, and belonging.

“I believe that laughter, connection, and a sense of community are essential to a fulfilling life, and we are dedicated to nurturing an environment where happiness flourishes."

LV Care Group also runs Crovan Court Care Home and the new Summer Hill View residential home which is owned by the Isle of Man Government.

An official opening ceremony will take place on Tuesday (8 October).
