Small Headed Clingfish typically prefers waters in southern England
The discovery of a new species of fish in Manx waters could point towards the effects of climate change.
The Manx Wildlife Trust says the Small Headed Clingfish was spotted by one of its volunteers - Jon Russell-Dunn - in Douglas Bay.
It grows to around four centimetres, has only been recorded three times in Ireland and is mostly found in the south of the UK.
Mr Dunn photographed the fish in 2022 but was only recently told how rare his discovery was:
Bus drivers to hold off taking industrial action while talks continue
Petrol station to trial bodycams
Regulation of Health and Social Care Bill pushed back to 2027
Manx patients will be contacted if appointments are impacted by UK strikes
