The new director of Public Health says he hopes to use the role to help Manx people be happy and fulfilled.
Matt Tyrer took up the position in the first week of October.
A trained doctor with more than a decade of public health experience, he came here from Cheshire where he led an award-winning team through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr Tyrer says it's important for him and his team to get the message across about how to live healthily:
