A UK company has announced plans for a new air route between the Isle of Man and South Yorkshire.
LinksAir says the three-times-a-week service will connect the Island with Doncaster-Sheffield Robin Hood airport for the first time.
The firm's begun advertising flights on its website departing Rondaldsway on a Monday, Friday and Saturday, with all services using a UK-based aircraft and crew.
The company, describing itself as an airline, quotes Isle of Man Director of Ports Ann Reynolds in a news release.
She has greeted the new service as 'welcome news' for leisure travellers or those looking to develop business links between the two regions.
