Mum defends buying 300 Christmas gifts for kids

No regrets says Christmas mum

A woman from Eairy who bought 300 Christmas presents for her family, has been speaking about the furore on American television.

Emma Tapping, 35, faced criticism on social media after posting a picture of the gifts online.

Mrs Tapping spent £1,500 on clothes, bubble baths, perfumes and make-up on her children, which she said would last the entire year.

'If they want anything else [throughout the year] they have to save up for it' she told ABC's Good Morning America.

She says she doesn't regret her actions:
