Multiple Sunday bus services at risk of cancellation

Staff shortages and sickness blamed for potential disruption

Nearly 25 bus services on the Isle of Man are at risk of being cancelled throughout today (22 September).

Bus Vannin has highlighted 24 services between 6.40am this morning and shortly after 10pm tonight across the network which could be disrupted.

The organisation says this is due to staff shortages and sickness.

The routes which could potentially be affected during today are service numbers 2, 2A, 3, 3A, 5, 6, 11A, 12 and 12A connecting areas from Douglas and out to Peel, Ramsey, Onchan and Port Erin.

Bus Vannin says its team is continuing to work hard to minimise the impact to service users.
