Island roads affected by snow and ice
The Mountain Road has been closed overnight due to black ice on the road surface, and is expected to stay closed until around midday today (Saturday, 10 December).
An all-Island weather warning for snow and ice is in place until 3pm today.
Gritters have been out on the roads since 5:30am.
The Sloc has also been shut between Ballakillowey and the Round Table due to the inclement weather.
Police shut the Tholt-y-Will road on Friday evening after reports of vehicles becoming stuck.
