MHK queries figures and cost associated with positions

Data revealed by the Department of Education, Sport and Culture shows there are 83 vacancies across the department, with more than 50-percent of that figure accounting for teachers, lecturers and support staff.

Caretakers, kitchen staff, administrators and culture and sport workers make up the remaining 41 positions.

It's estimated that if all positions were filled, the department would be spending an additional £2.35 million per year.
