Accessibility on buses to be looked at by gov't
Tynwald members have told the Infrastructure Department to adopt UK voluntary practice regarding mobility scooters being carried on busses.
After a considerable debate, an amendment from Onchan member, Julie Edge was accepted.
The motion says that, as well as adopting the code, there will be a steering group brought together to look at this issue and other aspects of accessibility on busses.
Tynwald will expect a report by October.
