MLC candidate wants to see more support for children with additional needs

Civil servant says education would be one of her priorities if elected

A civil servant seeking election to the Legislative Council says the lack of support options for schoolchildren with additional needs is a 'travesty'.

Claire Newall believes the current system means some students don't receive the help they need with literacy and numeracy.

She's one of 15 candidates standing in today's (4 March) election.
