All beef and lamb sourced on Island
Education Minister Graham Cregeen says he's happy with the quality and use of home produce in the meat used for school meals.
He was answering a written question from Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson.
100% of beef and lamb purchased from the butchers is of Manx origin but all chicken and turkey is imported.
Minister Cregeen thinks the system now being used is working.
