Haywood says plans are 'well overdue' and welcomes change to capital projects
A Rushen MHK says she would like to see ‘spades in the ground’ at the Castle Rushen High School site in the next 12 months.
Michelle Haywood has described plans to replace the secondary school as ‘well overdue’ saying previous plans for it weren’t fit for purpose.
The plans will now go through a new process for capital projects - unveiled as part of the Budget – which will allow projects to be brought forward for funding approval throughout the year.
