Julie Edge continues to probe figures
An MHK is seeking clarification about the numbers behind the planning appeal process on the Island.
In today's sitting of Tynwald, Julie Edge will ask the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister exactly how much the planning appeal process costs his department, per application, and what process he has to recover such costs.
Last month, the minister said the new £276 fee for planning appeals still doesn't come close to the cost to government - that followed a hike of almost 58% in the fee, from £175 previously.
Ms Edge wants all the figures laid bare.
