Rob Callister believes individuals will be priced out of process
An MHK fears ordinary people will no longer challenge planning decisions due to the cost.
From 1 April, the fee to appeal will rise from £175 to £276.
Onchan member Rob Callister will ask Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot about the increase in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.
He believes the price will prove a factor to some who would otherwise want to lodge an appeal:
