Earlier in the week, Manx Grand Prix organisers issued a statement saying it's not possible to implement medical and marshal cover for a full second week of racing.
The statement says that the weather disruption this year has been unprecedented, and it would have affected a longer schedule too.
The Manx Motor Cycle Club has submitted a strategy on the event's future to the Department for Enterprise.
