96 crossings called off during course of year
More Manxman sailings were cancelled last year than any other Steam Packet vessel.
Ninety-six crossings were called off out of the 1353 which were scheduled to take place.
It gives a cancellation rate of 7.1 percent.
In comparison 21 Manannan sailings were cancelled in 2024 out of the 750 diarised.
That gives a cancellation rate of 2.8 percent.
Just two Ben-my-Chree sailings were shelved out of the 158 scheduled.
This represents a 1.3 percent cancellation rate.
The figures have been released by Treasury as part of a response to a Tynwald question.
Data shows 76 of the Manxman sailings were cancelled due to weather.
Other reasons for cancellation were tidal restrictions, industrial action and an accident on the quayside.
Treasury says Isle of Man Steam Packet Company sailings were 94.7 percent reliable throughout the year.
