But chairman predicts brighter 2018
The chairman of Manx Radio says the £82,000 loss the station made over the past 12 months is ‘unsatisfactory’.
However, Bill Mummery says there’s no need for a knee-jerk reaction to ‘short-term problems’.
He was speaking after the national broadcaster posted an annual loss for the second year in a row, despite a £66,000 increase in commercial earnings.
Mr Mummery admits he can’t defend the loss but it doesn’t tell the whole story.
