Shane Kerwin releases acoustic version of anthem
A Manx musician who now lives in the United States has released his own version of Ellan Vannin.
Shane Kerwin moved to New York in 2009 to pursue a music career and has recorded an acoustic version of the song with a group of musicians in the city.
It includes vocals from Mary-Elaine Jenkins, from South Carolina, and a host of multicultural musicians he's met since living in Brooklyn.
He's been speaking to Manx Radio's Christy DeHaven about how the recording came about:
