
Air Passenger Duty could fall by half in UK
If the UK government cuts Air Passenger Duty, it will be up to the Manx government as to whether or not it follows suit.
A group of MPs is currently lobbying chancellor Philip Hammond to halve it initially, and then abolish it altogether.
They claim it will give the UK economy a boost and increase trade.
The tax currently pulls in around £3 billion.
