
Live at Home to mark National Loneliness Week in June
A charity on the Isle of Man plans to shine a light on loneliness this June - which will mark National Loneliness Week.
It's after the results of the Social Attitudes Survey revealed 7.2 percent of people have a degree of social inclusion every day while 11.4 percent socalise less than once a month and 1.3 percent never do.
David Gawne, the chair of Live at Home, says because of the results, and knowing that the charity assists 500 people in independent living - many of whom would be in isolation, they've decided to highlight it before it increases even further.
