
First shots sent back this week
Groundbreaking shots of the dwarf planet Pluto have sparked excitement from a local astronomer.
The first images have been beamed back from spacecraft New Horizons this week.
Space consultant Howard Parkin says the appearance of 'ice mountains' have only previously been seen on moons.
Images have now been taken just 50 miles away from the surface.
