Legal framework due to be presented to Tynwald in July
It's your last chance to have your say on upcoming changes to organ donation on the Isle of Man.
A public consultation on the codes of practice and secondary legislation needed to bring in the Human Tissue and Organ Donation Act 2021 closes today.
The act - also known as Daniel's Law - will see the Isle of Man switch from opt in to opt out organ donation, meaning it's assumed a person is willing to donate their organs unless they've stated otherwise.
It's named after Daniel Boyde, a Manx teenager who became an organ donor following a fatal car accident.
A survey looking at a range of issues relating to the changes launched last month and closes today.
Responses to the consultation will help finalise the legal framework, which is due to be presented to Tynwald in July.
