Public Health seeking views on the issue on the Isle of Man
Landlords are being asked to contribute to a new homelessness survey which has been launched on the Isle of Man.
It's part of government's efforts to eliminate the issue on the Island.
The 25-question survey is part of the Homelessness Strategy and is being carried out by Public Health.
Individuals are asked to think about the definition and share their personal experiences.
The results will form part of a needs assessment report which - alongside research into the impact of homelessness on health and wellbeing - will highlight gaps and opportunities for action.
Head of Population Health Madeleine Sayle said: "Homelessness can encompass a number of situations and it is important to determine public perception, initially alongside any personal experience, so we can ascertain more about the nature of homelessness on the Isle of Man.
"We will also be sending out a survey to landlords and accommodation providers.
"This is all part of the Island’s Homelessness Strategy with the long-term aim of eliminating homelessness in the Isle of Man.
"We look forward to hearing everyone’s opinions which are vital to the success of this Island-wide initiative."
You can fill the survey in HERE until 27 January.
Paper copies are also available from the Southern and Western Wellbeing Partnerships and from libraries in Douglas and Ramsey.
