Chief Minister dismisses MHK's concern over value for money
Paying KPMG to help develop a new economic strategy for the Isle of Man has provided 'significant value for money'.
That’s the view of the chief minister:
Alfred Cannan was questioned in Tynwald as to whether the new 15-year plan has revealed anything that politicians hadn’t known ‘for years’
Middle MHK Stu Peters said he wasn’t a ‘big fan’ of management consultancies:
Government appointed KPMG as a ‘strategic partner’ to develop a strategy for the Island.
The Department for Enterprise claimed that followed a competitive process which attracted international responses for tender.
Manx Radio has asked government to reveal how much it paid to KPMG for undertaking the work.
