A local arts centre is celebrating its tenth year participating in a national programme with an exciting new play.
Each year, the National Theatre commissions ten new plays for young people to perform, bringing together some of the UK’s most exciting writers with the theatre-makers of tomorrow.
Here on the Island, Kensington Arts will again be taking part, this year with a production of 'Ravers', directed by David Dawson.
The play dives into themes of identity, British culture, and the challenges of teenage life, offering audiences a humorous yet thought-provoking journey into what it means to fit in.
Given the nature of the programme, 'Ravers' has never been performed elsewhere, which Assistant Director Ben Gale says helps the young performers flex their acting muscles:
