James Horton wins Castletown by-election

Turnout of 33%

Jamie Horton won yesterday's by-election in Castletown.

He received 408 votes, with Julie Bareham receiving 284 and Pam Rice 64.

Mr Horton will now serve on the board of Castletown Commissioners until April 2020.

The election was held following the decision of former commissioner James Barrow to stand down in earlier this year.

Turnout was 33%
