Jack Frost to continue

Finances secured while takeover talks ongoing

Jack Frost is to continue operating and provide meals on wheels services.

The Braddan based company announced last Friday that it was to cease trading later this month after 43 years.

Poor sales and projections were cited as the factors behind the decision.

However, managing director Mike Priest has revealed talks have started with parties keen to ensure the business survives and is looking to the future with ‘renewed confidence’.

Jack Frost was one firm which recently stepped in to offer meals on wheels for older and vulnerable Island residents, following the end of the government's contract with Age Isle of Man.
