Demo models visiting Island
Isle of Man Transport is trialling new buses over the next few months.
One demo model has been on the Island this week for a 30-day test, with other bus providers supplying buses for testing over the coming months.
Bus Vannin confirmed some of its buses are almost 10 years old, so newer vehicles are being tested for their suitability as replacements for the older stock.
Political member with responsibility for public transport - Jason Moorhouse - says the trial is going well:
Contractors to start installing 20mph signs in Douglas and Onchan
Road closures in place following incident in Hillberry area
Accessible bus stops rolled out across Bus Vannin network
£1 million National AI Office launched to coordinate artificial intelligence policy and adoption
