The Isle of Man is one of a number of jurisdictions considering various maritime strategies at a conference in Jersey this week.

The Red Ensign Group, which consists representatives from the British Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies, is looking at sustainability plus greener shipping and innovation.

Around 80 delegates from all 16 REG administrations are in attendance at the week-long event.

The group consists of the UK, the Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey plus Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, St Helena, and the Turks and Caicos Islands.

There are also delegates in attendance from the non-ship registry Overseas Territories of South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands, Ascension and Tristan Da Cunha.
