Festivities in Peel between 10am and 6pm (Sunday 4 August)

The longest running carnival on the Isle of Man will take place today (4 August).

Peel Carnival aims to bring the community together for a day of ‘fun, laughter and unforgettable memories’.

Along the harbour and promenade there will be live entertainment, food and drink stalls, sandcastle competitions and much more.

Activities get underway at 10am.

Vintage vehicles, including a collection of Peel P50s from this weekend's rally, will be leading the Grand Parade from around 2pm

Road closures along East Quay, and the prom, will be in place until the event finishes at 6pm.
