New skills needed in relation to climate change, says Minister
There's a 'severe skill shortage' in the Island's construction sector and new skills are needed to tackle climate change.
That's the view of the enterprise minister who provided an update on the work of the Construction Isle of Man partnership in Tynwald this week.
The public-private body is jointly run by the Department for Enterprise and those within the construction trade.
Laurence Skelly says there are benefits to working with the industry:
Chamber: Positive Moneyval assessment vital for Island's future
Prostate cancer pathway available despite lack of screening
More than 200 residential planning applications granted permission but work yet to commence
Aviation safety audit will be 'completely independent'
