Exhibition depicts global warming impact
A new exhibition depicting the impacts of climate change and global warming is being launched in the Island today (Fri 13th).
"Images From a Warming Planet" is based on the book of the same name by environmental photographer Ashley Cooper.
Based in Cumbria, Ashley has spent 13 years travelling the world to document the effects of climate change, and the growth of renewable energy.
He won first prize in a worldwide environmental photography competition in 2010. His work is on display at the Mill in St John's this weekend.
The exhibition is open until 9pm tonight and Saturday (13 & 14 Oct) and then until 2pm on Sunday.
Ashley thinks the exhibition is about much more than just striking imagery:
RPU will be 'out in force' to stop drink and drug drivers
Ramsey Commissioners to spend more than £8k on deckchairs and storage unit
How to spot the signs of domestic and elder abuse this Christmas
Police appeal to parents after party of up to 50 young people 'becomes an issue'
