Barber 'frustrated' at outgoing DHSC minister's comments
The Isle of Man needs to have a ‘proper conversation’ about how healthcare is funded.
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Clare Barber has told Manx Radio she believes it is ‘unrealistic’ to have an entirely free service model.
This week former Health and Social Care Minister Lawrie Hooper quit his position claiming that the chief minister and Council of Ministers was intent on privatisation.
Mrs Barber says she was ‘very frustrated’ with how the situation was portrayed:
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will appear on Manx Radio's Perspective with Phil Gawne from 12pm today (20 October).
