Island hasn't hit peak of Covid-19 outbreak

163 active cases

The Isle of Man is still not at the peak of this Covid-19 outbreak.

That was the admission from the Chief Minister today.

Contact tracers are now dealing with 700 close contacts of people who have tested positive for the virus.

That’s an increase of around 200 in the past 24 hours.

Howard Quayle said there are more cases to come and he needs people on the Isle of Man to be ‘ready for that’.
